I’ve gotta stop going into the rockshop. ‘Cause I stopped in this morning to order a v drum cymbal and walked out with this all tube 5 watt beaut.
Seems everyones off to the beach for the holidays, but we’ll working right the way through, enjoying the Dunedin sunshine from behind the console.

Friday night saw the launch of the new album LOVE CHILD from electro pop duo Manthyng (singer Stanley Manthyng and DJ Stevolicious) at Refuel.
If you haven’t heard these guys yet, you’re missing out, these guys have a strong following and the first single, The Shaman, from Love Child has been a hit on local radio … the rest of the album is sure to follow.
We’ve just finished another weekend intensive of our level 2 course “Pro Tools for Professionals”, and the next course we will be running is our level 1 “Home Recording 101″ course.

The ‘Home Recording 101 – An Introduction to Home Recording’ Course is the first and introductory stage in our series of three arthousemedia Audio Education Courses.
Our ‘Home Recording 101’ Audio Education Course aims to provide a practical, hands-on introduction to the world of Home Recording. We cover the basics of the Audio Production process from Recording to producing a finished Audio CD Master. Students will learn to Record, Edit and Mix Audio using the Industry Standard Avid Pro Tools software and develop key Skills and Strategies to achieve the best possible results from their Home Recording equipment.
